It also sounds like the Merkaba (aka "Metatron's Cube.") Archangel Metatron was the keeper of the Merkaba. Enoch (son of Noah) supposedly ascended to heaven to become the angel Metatron — one of only two archangels to accomplish this. The Cube can supposedly serve as a portal through time or other dimensions, among other things.
