Eric Robertson, former Mocs player who scored 12 points in the Southern Conference championship victory in 2016, passed away suddenly Monday evening while playing basketball.
Robertson, 28, was a much loved basketball coach and Spanish teacher at Powell High School in Knoxville. He was also assistant varsity and junior varsity coach at Grace Christian Academy.
He leaves behind a wife, Jerica, and their one-year-old son, Luca. Residents of the University of Tennessee Medical Center have set up a GoFundMe to provide financial support to his wife, Jerica, a current family medicine resident.
He was known by all for his deep-rooted faith and for his enthusiasm, whether in the classroom or on the basketball court. His smile was said to light up a room and his co-workers said he had a special way to connect with his students. They said he wanted to be the best educator he could be.
Robertson attended Lee High School and led his team to three state victories and then played four seasons of college basketball. He also played for the British Basketball League, with the Leicester Riders, for two seasons, winning the league title both years.
Bird flu?
Had nothing to do with those experimental injections.......
Vaxk me no questiones and I will tell you no lies
Nothing to see here, it’s perfectly normal for athletic 28 year old men to drop dead.
safe and effective is what they say..safe and effective
A GoFundMe for his wife A MEDICAL RESIDENT?
Doctors, Nurses, Nurse Practioners, even Witch Doctors
make a lot of money in this country. Why can’t she earn what she needs vs passing the hat?
Didn’t he have some kind of life insurance?
There are nine possible causes for this:
1. Vaxx
2. Congenital heart condition
3. Vaxx
4. Drug OD
5. Vaxx
6. Vaxx
7. Vaxx
8. UFO attack
9. Vaxx
;-)
“Nothing to see here, it’s perfectly normal for athletic 28 year old men to drop dead.“
- ALL OVER THE PLACE…
Medical residents earn 40k, 50 tops, and are not at a point in their career to even touch the $300K+ in loans doctors graduate with these days. If 28 year old dad had been neglectful of life insurance, I can see how the family would be in a sad financial state.
You need to add “dies-suddenly” as a keyword to your obituary posts. Just so it matches your Google search parameters. 😀
If he took the vaxx, not my problem.
In all fairness, I think #6 should be “Voodoo curse”...
DAMN those UFOs!!
You can eliminate #4.
Another “rare” sudden death.
Kinda skimpy on the details, aren’t they?

Everyone dies suddenly, even if they’ve been sick for years.
Why is nothing written about the cause of his death?
Interesting keyword: diessuddenly. This is the first post to use it.
