Theres more to this story. Guaranteed.
Looks a bit like a flamer.
Reading a book about butts to little boys? Yeah, that’s not gay or pedo, nope, not at all!
All these years I’ve had a crack in my butt to find out I need a new one.
“I have two kids with autism and another BPD”
This is a red flag, he is fostering or adopting children with problems that are easier to manipulate and exploit.
This bastard needs more than being fired.
I think there might be a little more to this “story”.
A quick read of some reviews and it sounds like a crude, poorly written & possible creepy (innuendos) book that uses all those slightly “bad” words you get realllly tired of hearing when little ones are at a certain age.
And now you know why the students do not know anything.
You know, after reading some of the replies on this thread, I am honestly surprised.
I actually went and looked up the book and it seems to be something similar to a Dr. Suess book in nature. While I didn’t see all of it, what I did see didn’t have anything that I would find suggestive or objectionable.
And, according to the article, the guy has two children who are autistic and one that has what I assume is Bipolar Disorder (BPD?) who he is now trying to feed without a job. I don’t know the guy nor do I think that the article presents the whole story either. But, I think I would like to know a little more about what his history is and what really happened before I condemn him as a gay pedophile in a simple knee-jerk reaction.
Before swallowing a media story hook, line, and sinker, you might try actually doing a little research or is that too much to ask?
Just sayin...
A book for elementary students encouraging trans. Unbelievable stuff. This guy may have been abusing students as well as adopted kids. Maybe part of the reason he was fired. Should be arrested, but they usually prefer to go after female teachers for involvement with teen boys.
The only type of adult that would choose to read a book like that to a class of second graders is a pedophile.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Hinds School District
Seems to be a legit kid’s book and not some adult or even teen humor thing, but you have to know better than that.
“’I Need a New Butt’ about a boy who notices a crack in his bottom and sets out to find a new one”
Well, at least, they’re not encouraging little boys to get a boob job
It’s been done;
Many years ago, my parents had a business, a welding shop.
We started getting crank calls from a kid wanting to know how much it would cost to weld the crack in his butt. One day he called, and once again asked “ how much will it cost to weld the crack in my butt?”
The foreman, who had answered the phone, told him “I don’t know, but bring it on in and I’ll give you an estimate.”
No more crank calls after that.
I would have been that age in like the late 1960’s and I guarantee we would have been laughing our “BUTTS” off listening to that book. I doubt he would have even been able to finish the book due to all the “butt” jokes the class would have been sharing.
HAHA He said “butt crack”.
Was it an attempt at grooming?
