If he gave the details required to make a withdrawl, then the teller over-reacted.
If he just gave a note for $12,000, then they did the right thing.

Did he provide an account number? If he gave the details required to make a withdrawl, then the teller over-reacted. If he just gave a note for $12,000, then they did the right thing.I agree. The irony is that in his zeal to appear inconspicuous, he brought a lot of attention to himself.
