I think we have to assume that’s the case because others have been taken off transplant waiting lists for not being vaccinated.

This is sad. I am very anxious to see what finally got him (the cause).

There are some big bucks and smart people working on xenotransplantation. Time will tell, but we’ve come a long way in the process and my guess is that if it was a rejection or some malfunction of the heart that this problem will be solved and the procedure will be as common as human-to-human transplants in the years ahead.

As a kidney failure patient, this is something I know a little about.
