Seems to me that if Russia is not a backwards militia like ISIS. if they wanted bioweapons they could damn well make their own. So concern about them getting their hands on this is fakery. So why would Russia want them? Evidence. Proof to put before the world. Perhaps when the stories were coming out hinting that Russia might go nuclear it was a metaphor, that the nuclear bomb was proof that the USA was doing highly highly corrupt and illegal things in Ukraine and he could expose it. Well, it’s getting exposed, whatever it is. We shall see.
Bio labs right next door to Russia, makes you wonder WHY Russia felt the need to invade Ukraine, aside from the fact that our politicians over there getting VERY, VERY wealthy think they wouldn’t cover up some leak in a lab aimed at Russia??
“… if they wanted bioweapons they could damn well make their own…”
The concern isn’t that the Russians obtain bio weapons. The concern is they will have irrefutable proof that rogue elements of the US Government were developing them in foreign labs.
That would explain why the dems were irrational about Trump looking into Biden’s and others dealings in Ukraine.
It was first mentioned in a Twitter account that was quickly blocked. Then the US embassy in Kiev took down all materials related to biological threat reduction. But it was archived.
Whether the US was funding bio weapons research is not known. However the Russians did target those areas in their initial bombing campaign.
But here’s a quote which MIGHT be relevant:
“Did you know that biological material is being collected across the whole country, notably among different ethnic groups and people living in different geographic points of the Russian Federation? Here’s the question: Why are they doing this?”
—Vladimir Putin, 2017
So at this point we don’t know.
Yeah they are trying to spin it that Russia would do something bad with it. As if that isn’t the intentions of those overseeing the labs. Damage control is what the US govt is doing.
+1
The same thing occurred to me while reading another thread about these labs.
