Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continued to plead for Western assistance against Russian airstrikes Tuesday — a day after he warned that there could be dire consequences for the rest of the world if it doesn’t support the country’s fight for freedom.
“While Russians are to blame for the killings, responsibility is shared by those who for 13 days in their Western offices haven’t been able to approve an obviously necessary decision, who didn’t save our cities from these bombs and missiles — although they can,” Zelensky said.

In an interview with ABC’s David Muir on Monday night, Zelensky said Western protection of Ukraine was in democratic nations’ self-interest.
“Everyone thinks that we are far away from America or Canada,” he said. “No, we are in this zone of freedom. And when the limits of rights and freedoms are being violated and stepped on, then you have to protect us.”

Zelensky, you have already hinted you will make most of the concessions Russia wants when it comes to not joining NATO and the EU and recognizing the 2 Russian breakaway republics. Declare yourself a hero and then shut up and take the deal. Most of the Ukraine survives and you get to fight another day, if you choose to do so.
Excuse me folks if the United States has any sense,it doesn’t need Zelensky to explain the importance of Ukraine to us.
That’s certainly basic awareness our leaders should possess.

Actually, Joe Biden’s administration encouraged this fiasco and funded it as the oligarchs instructed. It is simply a bonus that it works to bail out their lack of leadership and record low approval numbers. Zelenskyy is able to walk outside and take selfies even though he supposedly hunted by 400 assassins from somewhere on the African continent. Anyone who believes that story when they see he broadcast where he is and even go outside for selfies is swallowing the lies hook line and sinker. Zelenskyy is installed.
