I had my second recent mask Nazi encounter the other day, It was almost funny I had stopped at a goodwill store and got in line, the only cashier handed me a mask, I looked at it like wtf is this and she said you have to wear that.

I said umm no I have no idea where that mask has been.

the lady in front of me decided that there was going to be a violent confrontation and went in to full crisis negotiator mode. So sweet.

I handed the mask back to the cashier and said that if her mask was not good enough to protect her from my healthy self maybe she could take the one I just handed back to her and put it on her face cause Fauci would approve and we could both be happy.

I felt bad for poor crisis negotiator who understood that masks were security theater and did nothing, but she should have not inserted herself, I was as always super polite to everyone.
