Years ago,while working in the ER of a large,very well known,hospital our Medical Director got a memo from the legal department ordering that patients destined for "Ward X" (the morgue) were to be escorted by two people,at least one of whom was to be a female.

He didn't tell us why but we assumed that it was because there was some piece in "Hospital Lawyer Weekly" about a deceased person who had been "violated" in some way by a staff member.

I have heard of sick nurses abusing the elderly before.
Many times it’s a gay male nurse doing this.
Their focus would be on inserting foreign items in body orfices. That’s as far as I’ll go into describing the crimes.
