and is funding the oppression of the people of Venezuela by purchasing that country’s oil.

Let’s not use the word ‘oil’, because the oil is simply another word for money when it comes to what it does for a dictator.

It’s not oil that we’re purchasing. It’s truckloads/planeloads/boatloads of money that we’re sending to those evil governments.

Venezuela is an ally of Russia, as are all the Communist and radical Islamic regimes worldwide. China as well. There are two wrong perceptions on the Right. The first is that Putin is a madman bent on restoring. Russia to its Stalin Era glory. This is a parroting of the Deep State/MSM narrative, with a conservative veneer. The second is that Putin is fighting for Christian and traditionalist values against the New World Order. The first is the fallacy of many mainstream conservatives; the second is the wishful thinking of much of the alt-right.

The real enemy is the Beijing-Moscow axis, with its spokes in Tehran, Havana, Caracas, Pyongyang, etc. The Cold War never really ended, and Putin, Xi, Maduro, et. al., see this year as a great chance to knock the United States and its allies from dominance.
