Probably so they they put a giant firewall between all domestic users and the rest of the world.
That will allow them to block any external site they want, and monitor all the traffic in and out of the Country.
Wouldn’t this just be the way China already is? I’m not savvy on these things.
I bet Russia is getting a lot of help from China for this firewall, and they must have been working on this for some time. You just can’t pull a switch and it’s done.
