Glad to see all enjoyed your Sunday. The wife spent hers folding laundry and vacuuming. I pulled my latest Chevy Chase cum Dick Van Dyke Friday night. I got up to use the bathroom nearest my side of the bed, and when I turned my 'chariot' around, my feet slipped in this tiny little 16 sq. ft. square between the doors. My feet went one way, I grabbed for my chariot brakes, and missed. Collarbone right into the door frame. Connie said she heard me yell "SHEE-I-I-......!" and she dove over the bed. She grabbed my arm and tried to pull me back on the bed, and her hands slipped, so I put the crown of my noggin right into the footboard.

Does FR give senior discounts on Wednesdays at Shady Acres?

And this, after spending three weeks with the worst flu I’ve had in ages. And I think I got that at my doctor’s office the day before. LOL I wrenched my neck good and I think I cracked my collarbone, but like my doc said, unless it’s a clean break or I’m bleeding internally, there’s not much to do about it but find a comfortable position and stay in it for a week or two. No use in seeing my buddy the radiologist just to be told what I pretty much know already and run up another medical bill in the process. If I’m not allowed to die until I pay off all the doctors and hospitals, I’ll still be here a century from now.

Not hungry. Been trying to eat for weeks. And she just reminded me that the night before I fell, I was half off the bed and she had to get up and push me back onto the mattress, like a snoring beached whale. LOL! I’m a mess. I ought to become a Trappist monk and spend the rest of my days brewing good beer and baking bread.
