If Ukraine’s launched a scud—its their right after being attacked. Or it could have been as accident or Pro-Ukraine sabotage. These things happen in war.

Who wants to bet there is martial law in Russia tomorrow...and an “outrage” to pummel cities in Ukraine.

Russia needs to control their people to control the economy.

Things are going to get chilly in Siberia.

In your browser. If you ‘allow’ you will regret.

My first guess is also an accident.

However, there has now been some time for a lot of players to start planning and spinning up some counter-operations. Eventually, the war is likely to come to Russia in some form.

Mark Levin mentioned Dolittle’s Raid to bomb Tokyo, after Pearl Harbor, recommending that the Ukrainians send some operators into Russia. Lot’s of professionals probably had that on their standard checklist of options.

Let’s look to see if it turns out to have been a really constrained Military essential, or just something more prone to industrial accidents.

If I was them, if I spotted a venurable supply depot in Russia I would definitely strike it if I could.

As far as a Dolittle type raid, I would do a TB2 Strike on some Russian Military Ships off Odessa, a strike on amphibious landing ships would be idea to attrite more of the Russian Combat Troops.

That ain’t gonna happen

Their leader gets too much money from Putin and Kadyrov is an iron fist ove Chechnya as a sort of autonomous loyal Russian mini state

Today Kadyrov basically said ignore civilized war and western media and crush these bastards....two days tops ...

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10576905/Chechnyas-leader-tells-Putin-shut-eyes-finish-day-two.html

It is daily Mail so who knows

Putin did it to him so he knows what it feels like

Chechnyans are some kind of tough...like Houthis or Comanches

Some ethnic groups often tribal are simply inherently ferocious

Man this conflict is a like a cotton candy machine of steady twisting irony daily

Chechnya leader telling Putin ....hey do to them what you did to us ...good buddy

Chechnya leader is extremely loyal to Pootie

An old IDF friend of mine who fought in the Golan in Yom Kip always told me Muslims respect a heavy hand

No truer words ever spoke

Your assessment is probably accurate, nonetheless the separatist movement continues.

Um... It's spelled "Kharkiv" now in Ukrainian - and it is located in Ukraine. And "Leningrad" is now St. Petersburg.

Yes indeed...
I get the same kind of corrections when I refer to Formosa...😎
IAC, when you are 88 and have lived through all but 10-years of the Soviet Union's existence, some changes get lost to memory...

On the brighter side, now that the Disunited States of America is 60% of the way to becoming a genetic copy of the Soviet Union, I'm well-positioned to handle the next 20 or so years without any psychological surprises...
