The reason we know Ukrainian officials are trying to goad the US into war is because that’s exactly what they say they’re doing. There is no ambiguity here — at this very moment, a furious multi-front lobbying blitz is underway to solicit full-fledged US military intervention in Ukraine, and therefore open warfare against Russia. To put it bluntly, a foreign country’s representatives are doing all they possibly can to instigate the closest thing anyone on Earth has ever experienced to World War III.
At the forefront of this campaign is the president, Zelensky, who’s been transformed overnight into an international folk hero. His nonstop lobbying offensive included a soaring address Friday to what some media outlets ludicrously described as an “anti-war rally” in Frankfurt, Germany. Such a description is ludicrous because the headline takeaway from the rally was Zelensky passionately condemning the alleged cowardice of NATO countries — for, as yet, refusing to launch a war against Russia. “All the people who die from this day forward will also die because of you, because of your weakness,” he inveighed. In his pro-war advocacy, Zelensky uses the same clever euphemism that has now entered heavy circulation: “No Fly Zone.” At this point, everyone with a bare-minimum understanding of what a US-administered “No Fly Zone” would entail has readily acknowledged that it means direct war with Russia — and by extension a radically increased risk of nuclear annihilation.

Putin cannot surrender or make concessions to Ukraine: it's too humiliating. If we get involved, he can order a cease-fire because now he's dealing with a peer as he sees it.
This is really the only way this war will end.
This. There can be no doubt that except for the stolen election, this war would never have occurred.
I’m not for a nuclear war. Especially with braindead and company in charge. But I think the Ukes need some attack aircraft or better yet drones. But all this should have been done months ago. It might have prevented this bloodshed. If you shoot down a drone there’s no pilot to take prisoner.

BREAKING: Russia’s Defense Ministry says countries which use their airfields to supply Ukraine with fighter jets may be regarded as participants in the conflict

Absolutely. And your comment is something we should all agree on to come together.
No my response is that you overreacted to Russia Russia Russia, to the extent you forgot Russia is a real threat.
We don’t have this war because we poked Russia. Quite the contrary, Putin saw Afghanistan and announced he was going to invade Ukraine.
Biden didn’t disappoint. He totally withdrew and announced that of course we wouldn’t fight Russia.
That was a mistake and Biden is a fool. The people around Biden are leftists who do not believe any wars are worth fighting (for America).
So as many say here, I can hate Biden and worry about Russia at the same time.
Yep, in fact our entry into WWI was so unpopular at the time, that Congress had to pass a Sedition Act to ban criticism of the war. They will do the same this time. But I believe there will be so much unpopularity that you’ll see bigtime riots and people resisting.
I made a general statement that all wars after the Mexican War did not have to happen.
You're just pissed that I'm not accepting your premise.
“More like Biden is trying to goad Ukraine into goading the US into WWIII.”
More like Globalists are trying to goad Biden into goading Ukraine into goading the US into WWIII.
Note the Russian language. We would be “participants” because we would be, in fact we are already.
They didn’t say “we’ll be at war” because that’s the war Putin and his generals do not want. They want to have Ukrsine without fighting us. Yet.
Lol he’s not pissed, he’s amazed that you’re so ridiculous.
Come on Freepers, line up to say World War 2 was a big fat mistake.
That’s how most people see it, and I think this is the simplest and best explanation for why there is overwhelming popular support for the Ukrainian people. It is not Soros-bots, Neo-con, Globalist, or NWO manipulation forming public opinion, it is the natural sympathy one would feel for a population being shelled into submission by its overbearing neighbor.
For one anecdotal example of this public sentiment, last night I attended a concert by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, which began the program by playing the Ukrainian National Anthem. You can always tell when an orchestra is just mailing it in, but this was done with passion, and all of the two-thousand people there were standing.
Propaganda Works.
Are you posting alongside with him in bed or something?
“I made a general statement that all wars after the Mexican War did not have to happen“
Wars never have to happen. But they do.
Because evil exists and humanity is fallen .
WWII wouldn’t have happened had evil not been manifested in Hitler and other leaders. But it did happen.
“Propaganda Works”
You mean it’s Ukraine that is invading Russia?
Just remember the main reason why Liberals are screaming for war is because Putin ‘stole’ the election from Hillary. And they think Putin and Trump are best buds, that’s what is driving it for them. If Russia was still Communist and Ukraine independent, they wouldn’t have cared, or would have supported Russia outright.
Not snarky, just the facts. I ask a question about the meme you posted, really wanting to know what that image (meme) represents. You take offense and come back with a snarky reply. “Did you just wake up from a week-long nap?”
Calling or Labeling people a moron because they cannot interpret your meme. Then you expect them to believe or respect your opinion, not going to happen.
I am so focused on your negatives you will not be able to effectively tell me anything. With that I digress. Later.
I know its not a sexy phrase. But it is an easy way to remind that we need to stay out.
I will search for something more “modern.” LOL
Personally, I'm disgusted with the twitter crowd, the left-wing media, and the more vocal element on FreeRepublic trying to inflame public opinion to a more pro-Ukraine position, the result of which will be to get the US more involved than it already is.
