I’m not bragging. I responded to another poster that said “try to find .357”.

I found some in one internet search. I’ve always been able to find what I needed. I haven’t needed any in a long time.

If you’re willing to pay the price ammo is around. If you reload you probably stocked up during Obama. If you don’t reload, you should if you shoot much but now powder and primers are hard to find. It’s there but you’ll pay a premium price for it. Snooze ya lose.

Let’s not be stupid. Why can’t we be more like Obrador in Mexico? Cordial relations with everybody? If we continue pushing Putin’s buttons, we will all get nuked. He is Mad Ivan now. I guess we have a death wish after all.

Once I realized Obama was going to be elected I went on a buying spree. I haven’t needed to buy any since 2010. Not learning to reload is a major regret of mine.

You can still reload there’s good used equipment around, its not tough to learn or physically too challenging. Lots of info out there and shooting your own loads is a bit of a kick (no pun intended). Regards

It’s not like we’re experiencing any shortages in the U.S.

What do you mean, "The post did not go up for some reason?"   I think we all can see the link you posted above.

I don't feel the need to contribute to either side of these rabidly socialist dictatorships.   That's in the same way I wouldn't donate to Joe Biden.

I’d think they’d want complete cartridges, but bullets are nice, if they have primers, casings and powder.

Maybe we should send some ‘clips’ too?

The irony in this is these “donated” rounds of ammunition are 7.62 x 39 used in AK-47 rifles but they are loaded in brass cases.

The AK’s cycle and fire STEEL-CASED ammunition far better than they do brass-cased ammunition.

The rifles were designed and built to use steel-cased ammunition. It is cheaper to manufacture and operates the rifle more crisply and ejects the spent cases farther.

Better send some wrist-rockets to sling those bullets with.

I don’t know about that, but I’ve read that switching from steel to brass without cleaning the weapon first is asking for a jam.

Agreed. Ammo prices are high and they are sending ammo to a foreign country?

Same thing here. And it really ticked the wife off over the money I spent.

HOWEVER, she’s not so unhappy now when I point out we could sell it for twice to four times the price I paid. She looks at it as our retirement supplement plan.
