Zelensky pleads for US military aid, says if Biden acted sooner ‘there would not have been war’
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky chided the Biden administration for not slapping sanctions on Russia’s Vladimir Putin sooner in an emotional, approximately hour-long Zoom call with 280 US senators and House members Saturday morning.
“If you had started sanctions months ago, there would not have been war,” he said, Fox News reported.
Zelensky thanked the US for the assistance it has already sent, and pleaded for additional American military aid for his besieged country, a Senate source said.
Dozens of lawmakers unmuted themselves to thank Zelensky for his bravery as the call came to an end – with some pledging “Slava Ukraini” — Glory to Ukraine, a source told CNN.
The embattled Ukrainian leader expressed support for a potential US boycott of Russian oil, in response to a question posed by West Virginia’s Sen. Joe Manchin, the Senate source said.

I agree with that headline.
Strikes me that Congress got on this call because Biden is ineffective.
He wanted US weapons removed from 15 NATO countries.
That demand was there for one reason - so there would be no agreement and he could invade.

I’m not for Putin or Biden—any of these leaders—they cause regular folk so much loss while they get rich by hook or by crook and even pave the way for their families.
I do not want to see civilians getting slaughtered but I think we need to look carefully before we leap.

I say destroy the roads that would allow for a withdrawal. Keep the equipment and make them walk home. When the dust settles bomb Minsk. Ukraine would need to have the upper hand. Can we(+NATO) help them?

Zelenskyy and most of Ukraine’s politicians are backed by Soros. We have two bad dogs in this fight, and I think we all know intuitively something stinks about this whole event. Notice how quickly the Deep Staters pivoted from COVID to Ukraine, and now they have the world’s attention focused on that! Man, are we being played or what!

The Ukrainian military is holding civilians as a human shield! They do not allow Ukrainian residents to leave the war zone!!! They mine the territory, blow up bridges! People can’t get out! They place military equipment in the courtyards of residential buildings. Where is President Zelensky??? The leadership of the country is a mess! One of the negotiators Denis Kireev was shot!!!
