Hey, I picked up a wad of bills about 2 in across, as I walked up to a cashier at WF in Kroger. I handed it to her and she ‘quickly’ laid it out of sight. I didn’t think twice, but I did think that if that if was my money, how happy I would be to get it back. I also was at AT&T store. Got back about 138.00. Put it in my purse. Looking back, as I turned to go and as I figured later, the money fell on the floor when I pulled out my keys. The clerk had looked over at a man setting at the counter and sort of looked down like he saw something but I’ll be damned if he didn’t say something!
I NEVER just drop bills in my purse anymore.

I always figured that if I work hard for my money, other people do too. So, I would never think about taking some wad of cash I might find without trying to find out who it belonged to. Besides, it just feels right.
