It will cost the new owners that much and more to pay for gas and electric.

Extremely limited market.
Houses here still going at above asking price and appraisal price. Appreciating quickly. Limited supply, lots of buyers with money/good credit, the usual boring reasons.

Too vulnerable to nuclear fallout and earthquakes. The super rich fat cats are more interested in places like New Zealand to hangout whilst they engineer wars, famines and sky high fuel prices

So, the subcontractors are going to have to eat it. How many of them had to file bankruptcy because they didn’t get paid for the work on this boondoggle?

If I was worth $100 billion I wouldn't have the *slightest* desire to live in a $100 million house. My ego isn't nearly so fragile to compel me to own such a house.

This aint squat. Ever been to the biltmore estate? You could ride Harley’s in The halls, camp out with 2 or 3 friends in some of the fire places. They have a room just for flower vases! 😃

its absolutely gigantic but the individual rooms themselves are kinda meh for the price and what you would expect for a typical home. So what you are buy is a huge load of middle class living space with amenities.

I’ve never understood why someone would want a house you need a golf cart to get around. Beautiful setting though.
