On my way to work in southern NH I passed a half dozen stations. Here are the prices on regular unleaded:
$3.89
$3.94
$3.89
$3.69
$3.49 the last station before my office
I stopped and filled up at the last one. Even though it was a 7-11 Citgo(Venezuela) station.

I buy pure gas. Two days ago I paid $3.69/gallon for 87 octane. (Oklahoma) But yesterday prices went up.

No price is too high for that in the eyes of the true believers.

$3.99 for 87 Octane upstate NY, and well into the $4’s for anything else.

but hey, no mean tweets, right? But, Psaki, Buttigeig absolutely love this. They want to shut down our domestic energy even further. $5/gallon gas is on the horizon. Hopefully I can get a wood furnace installed this summer.

My car is in the Ford shop for a couple recalls. They gave me a loaner until a break part comes in, which according to them could be months. The car I have right now get 33/gal. Better go fill it up. Price was 3.79 yesterday.

We’ll get used to $8/gallon. Look at lumber...it soared during the covid panic and hasn’t come back down. A 2x4 is $8.99 now.

Keep in mind what an average is. Around half the prices are HIGHER than this number.

Companies should stop forcing employees to give up working from home in order to reduce demand for gas.
