A different perspective for you:

Democracy was under attack in Ukraine since 2014 when anti-Russian Western Ukrainians overthrew the rightly elected President, Yanukovych. This is just a continuation of 7 years of anti-democratic actions, which were started by the Western Ukrainian people. The ethnically Russian Eastern Ukrainians will be home with their Russian brethren soon enough.

Then why is Ukraine fighting Russia so hard?
If they were being oppressed by anti-democratic elections, you’d think they would welcome Russian interference.

It’s clear Ukraine is voting through their actions to reject Russia.

Little Pukin speaks of uniting the “Russian World”.

Right now he is bombing the Russian World to unite it.

We tried that in Vietnam (got to destroy the village to save it). Didn’t turn out so well.

Either way, the killing is unforgivable. Can I get a witness?

Regardless of merits, the best outcome to avoid a chemical or nuclear war started by a desperate Russia will be a stalemate. Following that, a partition into West and East Ukraine, and the West will try to outlast Putin and his successors in Cold WAR II.

Bad for many reasons, but better than total annihilation.

Nobody has even discussed what happens if Turkey, Iran, Syria and Israel get dragged into the conflict. Even worse.

Hopefully, they will be allowed to live in peace and the Ukrainian government stops trying to force them back into rule under a Ukraine national government that is hostile their heritage.

Unfortunately, the idiot in the White House and his neocon allies have started another Cold War, pushing Russia into an alliance with China.

Putin certainly leaves much to be desired but I don’t trust the McCainiacs, Kinzingers, etc, who are egging for a No-fly zone as that leads to a confrontation with Russia directly as Russia will counter with their no fly zone and neither side will hold to what the other side says.

FB, Twitter, etc, largely allow you to see what they want you to see and you’ll hear quite a bit of Orange Man Bad, Straight Man Bad, White Man Bad, etc.

Places like the Epoch Times, Gateway Pundit, Tim Pool, Breitbart, etc, are castigated as being Putin supporters if they say “It looks like this is true, it looks like this is Russian propaganda, it looks like this is Main Stream Media propaganda against Russia.”

We’ve been fed a ton of propaganda like Snake Island, Ghost of Kyiv, pics of men leaving so-called wives and heading off to war, etc.

When we see ladies on TV holding a child saying the world is coming to an end, the soldiers are killing everyone head for the hills or we see articles on the web of a mom saying they live in such and such town, that town is under attack, and yet somehow they know 10 out of 20 tanks were destroyed, why should we believe what we are hearing or seeing from the Main Stream Media?

I agree with you that we should not engage in Ukrainian.

But it doesn’t look like the folks in Eastern Ukraine are thrilled with their liberators.

One doesn’t need to embrace the Russian propaganda to stay out of their war.

People have longed talked about how football is an imitation of war.

Now we a war where people are imitating football fans. I’m expecting pom poms and team jerseys anytime now.

I don't give a shit about either country, or any of Europe at this point in my life. I was born in 1947, and grew up hearing about The Iron Curtain, as well as the threat of nuclear devastation my whole childhood. Then the Berlin Wall went up, and in 1963, it was the Cuban Missile Crisis.

The Clintons and the Biden's have made a lot of money from both countries, and China as well, as I'm sure plenty of other Democrats, and Republicans have done for many years.

Our Republic is dying, and for me, that is far more important than what's going on between these two countries. All we've ever heard is that the U.S. should be more like Europe, well f*ck that. And now we have another manufactured crisis to take our minds off two years of lies being fed to us about Covid. Millions of taxpayer dollars that will never be accounted for, will be sent to Ukraine so they can fight Russia, while we pay Russia millions for their oil. When a foreign country's border security is more important than the border security of your own country, and when Republicans vote to support all of this, then it's time to admit that America is headed for the trash heap of history. Republicans are part of the ongoing problem.

My Republican Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (22nd NY District) voted for House Resolution 956, in support of aid to Ukraine. I called her office this morning, and spoke to a young man. I advised him that I was extremely disappointed with her vote, and gave him my reasons why. I also told him why, after January 6, 2021, I am no longer a registered Republican, and will not be voting in any future elections. I'm done with these fools, and will no longer compromise my values by holding my nose and voting for the better of two evils. Those days are gone.

I don’t care about the Ukrainian point of view.

I want us to stay out of this mess.

Have you seen the news reports of the “journalist” asking Boris Johnson some questions concerning this war and then getting all emotional and making pleas? Turns out she is an agitator working with the WEF.
