yes we can be mindful of history, but does anyone really think that NATO is any threat, in today’s world, of invading Russia?

The Russians, for very good reason, certainly think so! We are in a nuclear stand off with Russia TODAY. Don’t you think we should be mindful of the Russian point of view, regardless of what you think the Western war mongers, on parade this week, might do? Do you have children or grandchildren? Tell me again why it’s so important to keep Ukraine as an American DS/democrat cash cow vassal state. Take a look at “today’s world”. Ukraine would be the last of the virulently anti Russian Central European dominos to fall to NATO. I’m glad you have such confidence in the good sense and restraint of those in the West responsible for everything we’ve seen the last two years. I think your statement is foolish and catastrophically dangerous if accepted by those in the West pushing the NWO on all of us. Today’s world is unrecognizable in the West from two years ago “today’s world” and you have no idea what “today’s world” will look like in two years. Or did you foresee the current Western “today’s world” two years ago? If you did, you and George Soros are about the only ones who foresaw 2022 “today’s world”.

From our perspective? No.

From the Russian perspective? Yes.

From their perspective,

o The West burned Moscow to a crisp. (Napoleon, 1812)

o The West (Britain and France) with the Ottoman Turks beat up on the Russians in the Crimean War (1853-56). Russians saw themselves as protecting Christian minorities in Ottoman lands.

o The West (Germany) beat up on Russia in WW I, to the tune of 2.5 million dead Russians.

o The West (Germany again) invaded Russia in what became The Great Patriotic War of 1941-45, killing over 25 million Russians.

And the Russians see NATO as basically us and GERMANY. Do you think Leopards on the Russian border is somehow going to fly? Because that’s what they perceive will come with Ukraine in NATO.

NATO won’t invade Russia. Russia won’t invade NATO.

So let’s assume the attack is as slow as a snail.

How long it would take a snail to travel from Moscow to the midwestern United States (or vice versa)? Assuming there are no ocean barriers (which there are), it would take about 19 years. (0.03 mph and roughly 4,900 miles)

The Cold war lasted from 1947 until 1991. That’s 44 years.

So two armies of snails from each side could get to a battlefield and fight faster than have the United States and Russia (or the USSR).
