We stood on an overpass today in Danbury, CT to see a convoy pass through. We had about 200 people there with flags and signs. Got a lot of honks. Not just from the convoy but from many cars and trucks before and after it came through.

This was off Exit 2 - Old Ridgebury Road - decent sidewalk on that one though still mostly snow covered.

Ah yes...
After all these years, forgot about that exit, although we (wife & I) usually stay at the Hilton Gardens when we are back in Danbury for in-law events...
That would have to be the only possible safe exit...😀
It has been about 75 years, but isn’t Old Ridgebury the road to the Peach Lake golf course?
Played there frequently after I got out of the Marine Corps (51-57) in 1957...
At 88, memories get a little fuzzy...🙄

I'm not sure if they still call it Peach Lake but the golf course is still there. That exit has been built up quite a bit in recent years. There's a shopping plaza with a Trader Joes and a Staples. More hotels have been built along that stretch as well.
Also right off that exit is a favorite restaurants of ours called "Rosy Tomorrows"
