It is a criminal war, but it is NOT genocide. Putin has no intention of liquidating Ukrainians.

Since the Soviet Union went out of business in Dec 1991 things should work out fine then.

The Russian military is very capable of using nuclear and chemical weapons.
Their use would show clearly that Russia was committing genocide or war crimes.
Bombing and shelling and shooting are always awful, but these are normal operations in war.
If the Ukrainians arm their civilians, then they make civilians viable targets.
The Russians have attempted it before… the arranged starvation of Ukrainians by Stalin’s regime in the 1930s.

He’d prefer to simply annex the country (and don’t deny it; he’s said it in the past).
They might even be considered “illegal combatants” but don’t know that for certain.
Let no one forget that Russia is the aggressor and Trump supports Ukraine, while China, North Korea and Iran support Putin.
I thought China supported Biden.
One thing keeping Ukrainians alive is the also the cause of the war: Putin doesn’t believe Ukraine exists as a nation.
He just views them as confused Russians.
That makes him less likely to do a Stalin and try to wipe them out and replace them.
I’m not denying he wanted to annex the Ukraine, which for most of my life was part of the Soviet Union, and before that was part of the Russian empire.
I don’t want to live under socialism either, when is someone going to rescue America?
The Chinese don’t just support Biden.. they control him.
She was born in the Ukraine and now she’s in U.S. government. If she’s so concerned, she can go back to the Ukraine. Why are all these foreign people in our government?
