So Instead of SOTU, What's Happening In Texas Primary Voting Today?

Looking ahead to November's general election this year should be on everyone's mind. Like me, I figure few if anyone will be watching the State of the Union fiasco. Yet, there is today's Texas primary going on. The polls close soon in Texas and I am curious as to how things have gone. Was the turn out good? It should have been. Or, was it normal? If it was normal, then I'm highly disappointed, because with all that is happening I would expect to see over 75% of all registered Republicans to be casting votes so we can cull the field of RINOs down a bit.

Since I have seen no posts on this matter from my fellow Texas Freepers, I fear the Texas RINOs will survive again to be a pain in our neck. If Texas RINOs survive to continue mucking up the works, I guess we can expect the same dismal response from voters in every other primary election this year. I hope not, but no news in this case is NOT good news.

Please tell me Conservative Texas Republicans swamped the polls today.

That is Bull#@*^

Why did the local Republicans allow that to happen? See, this will be the same thing again if this crap continues.

DecisiondeskHQ has Abbott up 68 percent to the nearest challenger in the teens (Huffines) with West close behind him. Embarrassing.

Like I said, if it was a low low turn out then I am highly disappointed. What more do we need to get people to vote? Then people wonder I am so pessamistic these days about our ability to fix anything.

The Bush family refuses to go away, because they have no shame whatsoever after nearly destroying this nation.

Massive turnout at my polling place, Frostwood Elementary, Houston. 1 1/2 hours to vote. Line way outside the building. More than 1/2 Repub-side machines unplugged by whoever did the wiring. Poll worker figured it out. Hardly any Dems there, almost none.

Mine too, west Harris county. But I think the complexity of new fanged "vote-print-scan" machine have a lot to do with the lines .... especially on the Democrat side.

Methinks coordinating the touch screen with inserting ballot paper and adjusting a mask is overwhelming their collectivist addled brains ....

Huffines and West combined have less than 30% of the vote, and Abbott is winning in the most conservative counties in the Texas Panhandle, South Plains, and the Permian Basin by comfortable margins. It is likely Abbott will move leftward as he faces O'Rourke. This is the strategy Richard Nixon advised: be conservative in the Republican primary and move to the center in the general election.

Other bad news: Dan Crenshaw, a graduate of Klaus Schwab's young leaders school and a critic of conservative positions on the 2020 election steal, has clearly won his primary by a large margin in suburban Houston. In suburban Dallas, Van Taylor, who supported the establishment of the January 6th Commission, is well ahead of two opponents, although he is at 52%, so a runoff is still possible.

One piece of good news: Tim O'Hare, a conservative, is well ahead of Betsy Price, former Fort Worth mayor and a RINO.

I’m hoping Cornyn was defeated. I voted against him.

Well I did my protest vote against Abbott, but of course I’ll vote for him in the General.

The Bush family refuses to go away, because they have no shame whatsoever after nearly destroying this nation.

Then it is up to the voters of Texas to MAKE them go away.

I want to see the spawn of Jeb! get trounced in his primary.
