Did Biden goad Putin into invading Ukraine?

As of today, thirty member countries comprise the NATO alliance. Between 1999 through 2020, fourteen countries were admitted into NATO in the following order: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Albania, Croatia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. Much of that real estate borders Russia, and the U.S. is committed to defend those lands against Russian aggression.

Alliances can be powerful deterrents to war, but they can also be dangerous. After the Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated, the Serbians agreed to a long, demeaning list of Austrian demands to avert war. Nevertheless, the Austrians insisting on crushing Serbia without fear of drawing Russia to Serbia’s defense, knowing that the Kaiser had sworn the equivalent of a Teutonic blood oath to defend Austria unconditionally,

On December 9, 2021, Reuters reported that in a 90-minute phone call, President Biden had assured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy that Kyiv's bid to join the NATO military alliance was in its own hands. Said Zelenskiy: “President Biden said very clearly that the decision on Ukraine's accession to NATO is the decision of the Ukrainian people only, this is a sovereign and independent Ukrainian state," he said… And it depends on Ukraine and NATO members."

Surely Biden knew that admitting Ukraine into NATO was a red line for Putin that would trigger a military response, and surely Putin knew about the phone call, if Reuters published an article about it. Knowing that we could not realistically prevent Russia from invading Ukraine if she was determined to do so, was it wise to give Zelinskiy those assurances just as Putin was massing troops on the border?

Last week the New York Times reported that for the last three months, from December through February, U.S. intelligence officials had been sharing information about Russian troop movements

Goaded? Putin did not need to be goaded. Ukraine is the victim of Putin's determination to reassemble the Soviet empire and intimidate the West. And stricken with cancer and Parkinson's, Putin developed a sense of time running out and threw caution to the side.

As the invasion falters though and the West comes to Ukraine's support, Putin and Russia are becoming isolated and pressed by sanctions and adverse events. At the best for Putin, Ukraine will become an unsustainably costly victory that leaves him but a brief period to arrange a transition out of power.

At the worst for Putin, the West will win and Ukraine will be free and become a member of the EU and NATO. And with internal opposition growing, Putin is at risk of being overthrown and dying of violence instead of terminal disease.

I know the Russians have security concerns about Ukraine and would view admission to NATO as an unacceptable security threat. I am sure Biden's people know this too.

That is why, if someone in Biden's regime told China that the deal was done for Ukraine to join NATO (when that was not the case), then it was done to trigger a war. On purpose.

I don’t believe that Putins wanted to reassemble the Soviet Empire......if that were true why hasn’t he acted against those countries that were formerly in the Russian orbit? HE hasn’t bothered them at all...... What he wants is Nato expansion to stop ‘military buildup’ in those countries bordering his and Nato expansion to Russians neighboring countries....which is what’s been happening and increasingly so.

Ukraine will end up a neutral nation....able to do economic trade and the like but without the military buildup it was doing and has been doing. T he EU , IMF and others will help it rebuild (again) But it won’t be a Nato or EU direct member.

Yes, it was done to trigger a war.

As a provocation sure to result in war, Ukraine joining NATO is on a level with the USSR 1n 1962 putting missiles in Cuba and then saying, “Eff no, we’re not taking them out. Screw off, Yankee aggressors! They are defensive missiles, to prevent more CIA-backed invasion attempts. Come and get them!”

A fantastic piece by Peter Beinart on substack {SEE HERE} puts excellent clarity on the people around Joe Biden baiting Russian President Vladimir Putin to enter Ukraine.

Or at least, his NWO handlers had him do it.

So Putin was "legitimately" concerned that the same Western powers that he knew were unwilling to protect Ukraine militarily would somehow be willing to use Ukraine as an invasion route into Russia itself? That's nonsensical.

These "legitimate" Russian security concerns are bogus. They are nothing more than an excuse for Russian expansionism.

Countries throughout the world have security concerns with neighbors, yet we don't believe they're all entitled to control neighboring nations as "buffer" states. Why is Russia uniquely entitled to that?

“Part of the agreement was that the USSR would not crow about how they forced us to move our missiles out of Turkey.”

We need a similar face saving maneuver for Putin.

We cannot afford to leave him having to choose between his political (and possibly physical) destruction and launching nukes.

We need to provide him a third less painful choice.

Biden still buys their oil thereby PAYING for the bullets and hardware to harm the Ukrainian people. Biden is angry at Ukraine because they stopped paying Hunter millions a month for doing nothing. Stop paying the bidens and he will sic the Russians on you. Beware other countries that might DARE to stop paying for Hunter and Joey to be able to buy hookers and drugs. Beware other nations that will want to pay off Hunter and biden

Sharing information with the Chinese.

Imagine if Trump did this. He'd already be impeached and convicted.

There hasn’t been much mention on this site about what is happening in America.

We championed Canadian truckers and followed them. We even acted embarrassed that we weren’t doing that. Truth is we are lazy and we still sniff out whatever the MSM slops on the plate.

Our own? meh, for some people Ukraine is more important than our own.

The MSM has ignored it and will until you turn off their noise and propaganda that helps that POS in the WH who is going to claim some kind of victory in Ukraine and blame the destruction he has done to this country on Russia.

The whole lot of us has fallen for it so Joey gets the last laugh.
