Geez. What overwrought - and blood thirsty - rhetoric.

Putin’s invasion was premised on the idea that Ukraine was not a nation.
Even if the country is eventually defeated militarily in this war, the Ukrainian people have proven themselves willing to fight and die for their flag.

Commies at the Guardian just can’t get over the fact Russia isn’t a commie state no more.

Hatred is the ugliest of emotions. But for oppressed nations, hatred is a hidden treasure. Buried deep in the heart, it can sustain resistance for generations."Your eyes are full of hate, forty-one. That's good. Hate keeps a man alive. It gives him strength." - Quintas Arrias, "Ben Hur"

Yep. Putin thought the Ukrainians would not fight and all he would have to do is roll into Kyiv like putting on an old fashioned Soviet military parade.

Putin’s invasion was premised on the idea that Ukraine was not a nation. No different than what Hitler said about Czechoslovakia in 1938, it was created after WWI by Britain and France to keep Germany in check.

The sad part is that had he limited himself to the Donbas as he announced, he could have pulled it off without so much blood shed.

There is too much fog of war to tell what is happening. The British press is probably very much influenced by their intelligence services. The American MSM, including Fox, is just a mouthpiece for the Deep State. Maybe the Ukrainians are winning, but there is no way to tell at this time. Disinformation abounds
