I didn’t go into isolation when I finally got Covid - nobody in my family was vaccinated or the slightest bit afraid of catching Covid.
We figured if we spread it we were doing the world a favor - spreading the true vaccine - natural immunity - that only comes with exposure.
It was just a mild cold.
The only reason I even got the test was because I was mildly curious and I wanted to be able to say I had natural immunity.
I’m deeply ashamed of my fellow humans for letting themselves get fear-mongered over a mild cold.
Pathetic.
I didn’t read that hard.
Although, what’s so terrible? After all, it’s just life in miniature. Guys love their miniatures when it comes to “train garden”. In fact our local show used to always combine trains and dollhouses.
I never got that much into it being a tomboy, but at the train shows I was fascinated since there is so much cool stuff to display. Toilets and everything!
We did not do isolation totally either. I got it, then my hubby and son. No big deal. In some ways it was the worst (mostly, duration), in many ways it was not (nothing very intense at all except fatigue for a week). For our 12yo son, it was a little headache then a little sniffles.
Oh, and this was pre-vax. You know, ssooooo scary. Even my mother had it - she started it for our enclave. She was fine.
OTOH, MIL got it and died that Jan 6. Yes, during that nonsense. But she was in a different state.
