Propaganda Does Not Change The War - The Ukraine Is Still Losing - Updated.
It is likely the most realistic and neutral one available. It comes with short notes about the numbered theaters.
Here are my own takes:
The Russian forces around Kiev are making no offensive moves but defend against minor unsuccessful counterattacks from the Ukrainian side (see below). I have seen no hint that Russian forces strives to get into Kiev. It would be too costly to do that and for little strategic gain. But the forces east and west of Kiev are binding a big part of the Ukrainian army and prevent it from sending reserves towards Donbas.
Yesterday an air attack or missile strike destroyed the largest Ukrainian fuel depot left near Kiev. The Ukrainian army will soon lose its mobility (if it hasn't yet done so). Kharkiv is about to get encircled.
Dnipro is a strategic target that the Russian forces will like to isolate or take by coming up from the south on both sides of the Dnieper river as well as from the north. Russian forces destroyed a railway station between Dnipro and Donbas from where resupplies were flowing to the Ukrainian forces fighting there.
After large progress yesterday Mariupol is now in a mop-up situation. The Azov forces still there have no chance to survive.
Russian passage through Mykolayiv towards Odessa has proven to be difficult. Artillery is now softening up the Ukrainian defense lines.
There are unconfirmed reports of large Ukrainian losses in Mykolayiv (300+) due to a missile strike on their barracks.
The U.S. has tried to use yesterday's NATO and G-7 meeting to push the Europeans towards sanctioning Russian hydrocarbon exports. It also tried to attach China to Russia and to get the Europeans to sanction its biggest trading partner. Both attempts failed.
There will be no additional sanctions on Russia. And while the NATO communique mentions China it only urges it to leave its neutral position. Everyone knows that that is not going to happen......
The Oscars were a huge cultural shift. We’ve gone from “words are violent” to people committing actual violence against others who say words they don’t like.

Thanks.
This is just RSBN on different platforms. Newsmax and others are not in this total.
Only 58.
Kitten Watch, Day 3.
No kittens. But we did have a raccoon visit last night, he was eating the bird seed on the ground under the feeder. This morning we noticed a rip in the screen around the porch. I wonder if raccoons might go after little kittens. Or after the mom! She is quite small compared to a raccoon.
“Russia’s ability to point to the Hunter Biden emails as confirmation of its claims of a biolab in Ukraine raises a serious question with huge national security implications”
And the FBI didn’t think any of this being on the laptop was a problem.
How are you doing LG? I just got back from checking out more granite. Unfortunately I like every slab I see. Now I’m thinking of getting a different type. But it doesn’t go with the floor tile I picked. I’ll send a picture
Can you block it?
Are you buying granite for your countertops? That’s fun. I used to be the Operations Manager at a countertop company before I retired. We fabricated granite, quartz, soapstone, and all solid surface products (Corian). Very interesting.
Very nice granite. Would look really good with stainless/black appliances as well. Just my 4 cents worth.
“Just my 4 cents worth.”
Inflation?
It probably would look really good with black appliances. All ours are stainless though.
This is a big loss for this group.
Wonder if she was vaxxed?
My neighbor was asking about visqueen. I have no idea what that is but I think she was intending to block the lower screen Windows with it.
We could also try to trap the raccoon and relocate it.
I think your stainless appliances would look much better. I used to have black and I thought they were just a little stark looking. Like big black squares - they reminded me of that big black box in the ME that the muslims throw stones at every year.
Those cabinets are very nice - the granite will look smashing. Post a pic when it’s done!
I like that granite very much. It’s a little quieter than the others - has a very rich look. I suspect it’s a little more expensive....is it? I like that the colors and shapes aren’t quite so defined, but blend nicely. The Bordeaux’s are some of the nicer granites.
I thought the red knobs on the Wolf range would go good with the bordeaux. Not really match, but are at least in the same area of the color circle. I wanted to buy a house in Kentucky because it had a Wolf, so I’m pretty obcessed with these appliances.
Good one!
Actually that would look very sharp. Try and find a nice cast iron red kettle to sit on that stove. Very nice look.
