Don’t get to excited about commonality.
After all, humans and chimp share 98.8% DNA

***Yeah huh, it took about 10 million years for “mutations” to give us 1.2% of separation but only 12 years for some virus to get 100 million years worth of separation.

Wow - you are really trying to distract from a patented unique sequence being present in a pandemic causing chinese coronavirus with “well sure but humans and chimps share lots of DNA?
You are going to have to do better- your AGENDA is showing.

This is not about some random sequence of nucleotides. This is about a specific nucleotide sequence in a very specific location on the spike protein that enables a very specific action than facilitates the entry of the virus into a human cell. The chances of this occurring naturally are vansihingly small. The chances of this viral evolution occurring naturally in the exact location of the Wuhan Virology Institute where research was being conducted on the same virus is a bit more than simple coincidence, especially when there is a long paper trail of research papers and patents detailing similar modifications. And by the way, the Covid -19 was so optimized for human infection, they could not find an animal host that even had the ability to become infected by the virus so it could become a host. Covid-19 is bio engineered gain of function project from the Wuhan Virological Institute

Doug; The article is about the virus rather than humans and chimps. (Commonality is a Chinese Bot argument /misdirection. I don't think you are though.)
Snip "Fresh suspicion that Covid may have been tinkered with in a lab emerged today after scientists found genetic material owned by Moderna in the virus's spike protein. They identified a tiny snippet of code that is identical to part of a gene patented by the vaccine maker three years before the pandemic. It was discovered in SARS-CoV-2's unique furin cleavage site, the part that makes it so good at infecting people and separates it from other coronaviruses. The structure has been one of the focal points of debate about the virus's origin, with some scientists claiming it could not have been acquired naturally. The international team of researchers suggest the virus may have mutated to have a furin cleavage site during experiments on human cells in a lab."
The discussion is regarding "identity" not "commonality".

After all, humans and chimp share 98.8% DNA I've been wondering about possible origins for Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris.
