I admit that I thought this would be over in 48 hours. Either the Ukrainians are determined to win or Russias military sucks.

I think it’s both. Add to it the Russian military does not have its heart in it and Ukrainians are defending their home.

Russia's military does not suck. They merely expected a romp in the park. Now they must either negotiate or open a different playbook. Full on war crimes against a neighbor, with their own people thisclose to a financial panic.

Sanctions have painful consequences.

So, what are we watching tonight? The Missiles of October, or On The Beach?

Or a combination of both.

For an invasion to be successful, the entire military structure, as well as, the people must be supportive of the effort. That does not seem to be the case with Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

I must admit that Ukraine's response has been somewhat unexpected, but bravo for them. πŸ™‚

I think Zelensky's (other spellings Zelenskiy & Zelenskyy) response when offered a ride out of Ukraine really rallied the citizens to stand tall. πŸ™‚
