William Barr is urging Republicans to put former President Donald Trump in the rearview mirror in 2024 in favor of the political party’s younger leaders, the former attorney general writes in a new book. In his upcoming 600-page book, “One Damn Thing After Another,” Barr says he thinks Trump could’ve beaten Joe Biden in 2020 if he had “just exercised a modicum of self-restraint, moderating even a little of his pettiness,” according to the Wall Street Journal. The conservative lawyer encouraged members of his party to consider “an impressive array of younger candidates” that he did not identify by name — who he believes shares Trump’s agenda but not his “erratic personal behavior,” the book says. The former attorney general, who served from February 2019 to December 2020, wrote that the former president has “shown he has neither the temperament nor persuasive powers to provide the kind of positive leadership that is needed.”

Yep.
Donald Trump was petty? After what they tried to do to him??? I thought Trump was incredibly restrained and amazingly kept working with unprecedented successes in the face of the overwhelming corrupt attacks he faced.
MotherF.....Barr
Bunch of low life, no integrity and no loyalty wuzzies.
Damn, my SHTF hang list is growing.
The duplicity is extreme.
That’s why I don’t answer the phone when RNC or NRCC calls for donations. Everyday we see RINOs in Congress helping the Liberals. Sorry not one recent to help keep RINOs in place.
Traitor Barr joins with Traitor Roberts.
Like the KGB, the US DOJ is the political brain and nerve center of Fed.gov. It controls and vets politicians and their political plans. As we saw with Trump, a President doesn’t run the country - it does.
He’s a total fraud. And he’s good at it too.
The first clue Barr was a bad choice was him working as the AG for Bush Sr’s administration. It’s not a surprise Barr disappointed and it was yet another bad hire by Trump in his cabinet.
Trump’s fatal flaw was that he was never able to select a loyal, supporting cabinet or get full control of Federal agencies. IMHO he never really expected to win and did not have a trusted team ready to take control. Obama and Biden had no such difficulty.
The first I ever heard of Barr was his op-ed which hit every note on how Trump was being unfairly maligned, how his enemies were breaking the law, basically everything any Trump supporter wanted to hear.
I didn’t see otherwise here on FR until well after he was appointed as AG. Wouldn’t have mattered what I knew anyway.
“I really would like to know who make recommendations to Trump.”
Mitch the Backstabber. I heard one guest who was on Trump’s staff on Steve Bannon’s podcast that the exchange agreement was that the border money and the TRump judges, more than 200 will fill the all levels of judiciary. Obviously, the gubmint’ is not a corporation where you can easily fire someone like in the private sector.
Just look at that hand jive while tootle boy is sucking away! Totally engrossed. That bag is bigger than the scrotum on a boar hog.
Good point.
And Barr knows they stole the election.
He did neuter Mueller
It’s funny that you quote Biden. Were you actually born yesterday?
Idiot
He was a traitor all along. Close friend of Mueller, wrote the illegal rules that the FBI used to murder Vicki Weaver, his dad was a pervert pedo author who was gave Epstein his first teaching job, CIA. That’s all you need to know.
What’s wrong with quoting Biden, it’s proof Barr was a fraud from Day One.
Barr did talk a good game before he was sworn in as the AG under Trump. I was hoping Barr would follow through and he didn’t.
My initial thought was why did Trump go with someone in the Bush neocon wing of the party. I wanted Barr to do well, but I’m not surprised it worked out like this.
