Yep. That was a consideration, too. I just wanted their basic information; I don’t have a Smart-Phone. I’m not going to be tied into it 24/7.

Hence, the reason I took the MINIMUM membership. I have three or four of the cook books that are still on the ‘Point System’ and this is very self-directed. Plenty of recipes can be found on-line, too. I love to cook, so THAT has been part of our problem, too. I can still cook - just change the recipes a bit here and there.

She’s not gonna push ME around! :)

Pick up Dr. Joel Fuhrman's book, Eat to Live. I stuck with it for a few months after I was diagnosed with Type 2, but strayed from it. I should get back on it, though.

The weight is coming back slowly, after my second bout with Covid six weeks ago. I dropped 30 pounds in a week, from 190-160. I'm approaching 180 again, but want to keep it under 175. More salads, less meat and starch.

BTW, no vaxx here, IVM and HCQ really did the trick. I saw the doc on Tuesday, was back to work the following week. As to cormorbidities, I'll be 68 in two months, and have had Type 2 for 7-8 years.

Walking is way more effective than a lot of people think. And it has other benefits, like it’s very soothing for the soul. :) When the business I worked for, where I was on my feet 6 hours a day, closed it’s doors a year ago - I began gaining weight, ugh. So, as soon as it warms up - I’m back to walking again! A few years ago I wanted to improve my breathing and stamina, and so I began by walking 1.5 miles a day, I worked myself up to 4 miles a day in about 6 weeks. Really helped my figure, lol, everything went back where it belonged. I didn’t even feel like I was exercising.
