Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has posted a self-shot video of himself on Twitter walking around the streets of Kyiv.
In it he denies he has told the army to lay down its arms, saying that Ukraine will defend itself against the Russian invasion.

You can't just invade another country and expect it to fall although some observers would have expected it to fall by now it seems they're getting a fight.
Even if they do overcome them then they have to occupy the country and every Russian will have a target on their back!

Our media tells us, our government tells us so much we just swallow whole.

Remember, Volodymyr Zelensky, is a former standup comedian. No political training or experience. He is showing the world how an average, determined citizen can manage a war better than the effete elites in the first world, with a hellava lot of courage.
He deserves all the support and praise we can muster.

If the thousands of stories of Ukraine kicking ass and winning are true, then maybe Jennifer Griffin can explain two days ago why she was warning Putin could keep going to much of Europe?
People need to Identify the “journalists” that are on TV obviously there to sell Lies.

There’s a fine line between bravery and stupidity.
Lots of young Russian soldiers are surrendering without a fight.
The Ukrainians are scolding the prisoners and taking their phone. Some of it is sad.
Ukrainian to Russian: “Do you have a mother”
Russian: “No”.
Ukrainians: “Who do you live with?”
Russian: “I live with my grandmother. I only have my grandmother.” Prisoner starts crying.
UKrainian: “Okay. I understand.”

Ukrainian: “Do you have a mother?”
Russian: “Yes”
Ukrainian: “I am going to call her and tell her you are here killing Ukrainians”
Ukrainians playing this very well.
Everybody underestimated the Ukrainians. Including here on FR.
What is it you’re confused about? Whether the Russians are really invading? Whether Zelensky is staying put and fighting back? You’re living in a different era. “Our media” isn’t Walter Cronkite coming on at 6:30 every night telling us what to think. With Twitter, Instragram, etc etc we can watch it real time and see people on the ground. Unless you think its all just made up.
The first casualty of war is truth.
It is a propaganda war propelled by the media.
Putin will take control of Kiev.
If he wanted to take it out every power station in that country would be gone.
The videos been delivered are ridiculous.
