Let’s be clear: I am not advocating for disarmament. Far from it. In fact, self defense should be the first priority for everyone.
However, beyond what is needed to provide sustenance via hunting, and escape via a roadblock, I don’t see a need in building an armory. I will follow Sam Houston’s example before I follow that set by Will Travis.

I am the last to criticize a given individual’s approach to preparation for crises & upheavals - provided that individual is honest: that they are putting forth a personal conclusion. They are not stating facts.
It is folly to hark back to the tactics of Texans in 1836. Unless, perhaps, we were to find ourselves defending our lives & homes with flintlocks.
