The idiots on TV are claiming this is a full scale invasion and Russia is going to occupy and take over Ukraine. They completely refuse to see the territories that were Russian simply going back to Russia and that ends that.
You don’t know if they will stop after just the 2 regions with majority Russians in them. Were you one of them saying there was no chance of an invasion at all on here? Anyone predicting anything is likely to eat a lot of crow and ruined reputations.
The talking head idiots on TV spew one sided arguments, not because they are stupid but rather because they are elites who want to protect the establishment they work for. All their friends, colleagues, etc. live in the DC bubble and in the big cities. Basically they’re talking their book.
Its up to us to do our own information gathering and analysis. The media only wants to manipulate, rather than inform us.
I equate it more to Turkey invading Northern Cyprus in 1974.
And Turkey is still there today.
And guess what? Nobody seems to be all that upset about it. Turkey didn’t go on to try to rebuild The Ottoman Empire.
