As it is, your apparent logic that if ANYONE has a negative police interaction (even be of their own making) we should be upset because tomorrow it could be you. I have no plans to shoplift thousands of dollars of “crap” from someone else’s store, so I don’t expect to have this problem. Amazing how that works, eh?
She stole thousands of dollars in merchandise. She is a criminal and I’ll bet dollars to doughnuts that she has a rap sheet going beck many years. There is no comparison to her and the peaceful truckers in Canada.
Isn’t it amazing how quickly some here will grovel on the ground and proceed to lick the boots of oppressors...last I knew, police weren’t judge, jury, and executioners too. The right to due process, including the prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment, as well as torture, by the state, belongs to everyone if it belongs to anyone.
This happened 2 years ago. I watched the video and the idiot thief was on the phone to her mother when the cops caught up with her. She repeatedly didn’t listen to the cop’s directions as she took her sweet time emerging from the bushes. She wasn’t complaining about her hair/head at any point on the video. She’s had 2 years to fashion her version of events which don’t correspond to the cop’s body cam. And to compare a felony theft to the “mischief” charges in Canada is a long stretch.
