Maybe I’m not paying attention to the facts of the case, because only the verdict is of interest to me. That was what I was told the case was, and I took it at face value. Life is too short to study videos on everything that appears on the news. Do you really believe I’m part of some damned conspiracy to frame these three idiots?
To be fair, I am lying when I involve Beaver Cleaver in this. But that’s called a joke.
I love Georgia. That’s where I’m registered to vote, though I no longer live in the states. But the media lies, if that’s what this is, seemed credible enough, perhaps because of my damyankee upbringing and the attendant unconscious prejudices. As for the truth, since you feel so strongly about your understanding of it, I’ll take your word for it that the videos don’t support the media narrative, and let it be at that. But I’m not watching any videos. Let their lawyer tell it to the appeals courts.
No, I believe you are the victim of media lies. The only mistake you made was this. "That was what I was told the case was, and I took it at face value."
You can't trust what the media liars tell you. They cover up information that doesn't support their narrative. They do it over and over again, and we simply have to find out the truth through other sources.
I’ll take your word for it that the videos don’t support the media narrative, and let it be at that. But I’m not watching any videos.
You don't have to watch any videos. I've posted images of stills taken from the videos, and I will tell you that the Prosecutor in the Trial has admitted that these are all videos of Ahmed Arbery going through that house at night. He can be recognized precisely because of his particular tattoo on his upper left arm (I think) that can be seen in the videos.
Those images by the way, are from the Daily Mail. It's gotten so you can't get the truth from domestic media, and have to resort to foreign media to find out what is actually happening in your own country.
Let their lawyer tell it to the appeals courts.
Might work but I very greatly doubt it. Depending on what judge they get, the judge will either be part of the mob or afraid of the mob.
The chances of them getting a brave Judge who will do the right thing are pretty slim in my estimation, but I could be surprised.
I apologize for saying you were repeating a lie. I did not realize you simply accepted what other people said without checking. I try not to do that, but I find myself occasionally doing it too. Again, I am sorry.
