The media and the teachers’ union keep up a relentless drumbeat about America’s educational excellence but parents are finally catching up with the lie.
Is the USA in 2022 a military superpower? Yes. Is the US economy in 2022 a superpower? Yes. Is the USA in 2022 a superpower in terms of public education? Not hardly or, as Biden likes to say, “C’mon man!”
Why isn’t America a superpower in terms of public education? Don’t we pay a lot of money for public education in America? We are right near the top in terms of what we pay per student but, alas, we don’t get much bang for our bucks.
In 2022, the corporate news and media outlets in America promote the stories they like and kill the stories that do not suit their purposes. Their allies in the teacher’s unions and the 13,452 school districts across America do not want us to know much about the performance of those schools compared with other developed nations. Like clockwork, they happily generate report cards for American students, but they do not want the American people to see their report cards when compared with other developed nations.
Since Democrat candidate Terry McAuliffe famously said in the 2021 race for governor of Virginia, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach,” there has been a rebirth of parental interest in American public education. While most of the focus has been on parental opposition to teaching Critical Race Theory, the poor performance of American public schools relative to other developed nations begs for attention.

I don’t see this changing unless the teacher’s unions are eliminated.
Public School Teachers will never going to get a high end education rating until you limit immigration. Any testing at age 18 will include 3-5% of stuents where the student has not been in the system for 12 year and english is a third language and they will perform badly.
Public School Teachers will never going to get a high end education rating until they weed criminal minds out of schools. The Teenage predators disrupt 5 to 20 students lives each.
Public School Teachers never going to get a high end education rating until they remove their union leadership from their mix. Whatever they are selling at this point is not tied to performance. The rest of the non governmental world you have to perform or provide some value to get paid.
Last of Public School Teachers got to realize for most of them, this job is meant to be temporary. They should be matriculating to real jobs at the end of their twenties. Use the low end education degree to pay for high end STM masters degree and jump to private industry doing something more useful than showing up to government work.

There comes a time when you have to turn our back on public education. We should never have had a Department of Education. It was the beginning of the end in honest education. Public education is where the Communists gained a foothold into our system of government. We need to s_t can the whole public education system. Take the huge education taxpayer dollars and give them back to the parents in educational saving account tax credits. Let the parents then either self-education or procure private education with those dollars. Public education is a Communist indoctrination system. Yori Bezmenov tried to warn us.
Government schooling is a big fat pimple. It needs to be squeezed from every side.

I can help this idiot on his confusion: It is because the failure is INTENTIONAL, for people who are educated have no need for Democrats.
Once again, we see a ‘good person’ here assigning his values to people who are nothing short of PURE EVIL (the education policy makers) or simply totally brainwashed idiots (the teachers).
A while back I asked a retired grammar school teacher, near 80 years old, how she’d compare the typical high school graduate to public school children in the ‘50’s and ‘60’s. She said children in 4th and 5th grade back then would have had the advantage academically. They were taught fundamentals of grammar, multiplication and division, cursive writing, and American history. Now, young adults have only a rudimentary grasp of anything besides their phones.
Having been homeschooled, I tend to agree. Materials I was given at that level would not be all that easy for teenagers today.
Public education is day care.
And it IS in your back yard.
I don’t think think Democrats should have any voice in what schools teach, whether they be parents or the ones in politics.

The more centralized a system is, the easier it is for the Communists to get control.
Back when schools were local and independent and more supervised by parents, we had better education.
