ATLANTA — Atlanta’s famed rainbow crosswalks were the target of street racers Sunday night.
NewsChopper 2 was over the intersection of Piedmont Avenue and 10th Street, where tire marks indicate someone did donuts on the city’s symbol of gay pride.
Atlanta police said units did respond to reports of street racing in the area but did not find anyone or issue any citations. It’s unclear if Atlanta police intend to follow up on the reports.

This was, without doubt, done by black racers.
No white person would be caught dead there after dark.
Actually, dead is about the only way you would find a white person at the intersection of Piedmont and 10th after dark.

In the City of Atlanta proper, which is what we’re talking about here, street racers at just about any time are going to be 95+% black. Lots of Dodges.

The gay pride flag is not a “rainbow” flag. It is missing the color indigo. Just like so many other things that are from Satan, it looks pretty and makes one think of other good things like “love” and “justice” when really it represents the opposite.

I used to live close by there .... fifty years ago. Is the Virginia-Highlands area no longer nice? It was gentrifying when I left in 1981...
