This is appalling and it’s got to stop. Many Canadians realize this, and there are demonstrations all over Canada today. The governor of Alberta is suing Trudeau because of the “emergency order.” There are a few vicious trolls in favor of it but fewer everyday and more and more Canadians are speaking out.
We’re wusses in the US and most people have quietly accepted this stuff in the lockdown states. They were intimidated by the intelligence agencies’ response to 1/6, which was not just finding the handful of people who got out of hand but finding everyone who had ever been near the Capitol at the time and then staging their midnight SWAT arrests. And we just let it happen, and none of our officials - including Trump - came to our rescue. So give the Canadians credit.

But, if I may, at least one part of your comment could be dealt with, rather easily. And it all starts with your local sheriff, police chief, mayor, city council, county commission.
Someone gets rolled up in a midnight raid. Ask the sheriff/chief: did you know about this? If not, why not? If so, why did you let it happen? If they cooperated with the feds, especially if it’s a Sheriff, immediately start the recall petition. Get rid of him/her and find someone that will stand up for the people. If the feds want to charge anyone, Zero Dark Thirty raids are not needed. That stuff can be handled much differently and Sheriffs can do a lot when it comes to that.
