Its their Gov that is not very nice.
Don't confuse the people with the government, just like in the case of the US.
You know not what you talk about! I am married to a wonderful Russian woman, live in Russia and get along just fine with the people here.
In fact, most of them can’t stand Biden and are always joking with me about him - they also hated Obama. The people here have more in common with us conservatives more than you can imagine, and most cherish traditional values. The homo stuff isn’t celebrated here and shoved down our kids’ throats like most of the rest of the world. It’s quite refreshing to not be bombarded with it, like in the states. And that was one of a few reasons I moved here with my wife and 5-year-old son.
