Ted Kaczynski smiles...
We give ourselves too much importance on the stage of life. The planet, the sun could just have a hiccup and we’d be gone in a flash. I’m gonna keep my gas guzzling v8 until the day I die..
Humanity’s pride knows no bounds. Let it be your will and not mine, our Father in Heaven.
Where is the EPA on this! /s
I’m going with the Polocks. They do their solar bound travel at night so they don’t burn up.
We don’t know the magnitude of God nor the magnificence of Him.
Nor do we know the horror of hell.
Now that was a well thought answer.
So where did you move to? Texas or Florida?
;-)
It would only be a catastrophe if my daughter loses her wi-fi.
what would happen if BIG meteor hit the sun.........OR THE MOON
“some say would represent similarities to the 1859 Carrington Event.””
Wait... 1859? Are we still here?
“It created strong auroral displays that were reported globally[1] and caused sparking and fires in multiple telegraph stations.”
Good thing we don’t have THOSE anymore!
“catastrophic for Earth” ??????? Hyperbole much?
It was sooooo disruptive in 1859, that they had to postpone the Civil War a few years. /s
Kim Jong-Un landing his rocket for a second successful flight to the Sun.
That is correct....or a planetoid ricocheting from some cosmic billiard game 3 light years away...or the sun being less stable than we believe it to be....we pump ourselves up so much....easy way to see your mortality....spend 2 days without food and water in the wilderness
People don’t realize there’s more danger from cosmic events than “climate change”.
A couple years ago my son would have most likely been the one to capture that image.
He used to be flight operations/data tech for the SOHO solar observatory.
He’s now flight ops for another scientific satellite array.
Now that's just crazy talk. The sun is eternally quiescent and stable. Only humans can change the earth's climate.
I guess i should have included the /s tag just for you.
