There are 20+ years experience with drugs of the same class, using ritonavir as a boost. Some people have been taking them for almost that long without ill effect.
Obviously, a new drug is just that, but, reasoning by prior experience with similar drugs, Paxlovid looks very safe.
As I predicted, as soon as Paxlovid became available, the Merck drug (molnupiravir) has basically vanished. The Merck drug was a new compound with a new mechanism of action, there was probably falsification of efficacy and maybe safety data, and it was never going to compete with Paxlovid.
Not likely. The Queen has a number of horses, but she would be taking a formulation for humans. She doesn't like the Apple flavor.

I guess you did not realize that news agencies outside the U.K. actually do talk about the Queen Elizabeth on occasion. In the U.S. many news agencies talked about Queen Elizabeth getting Covid? I am surprised you did not know that?

She is taking tablets for people and they work. Her age is worrisome though.
The UK is doing serious studies of ivermectin for covid. Maybe those in the know see benefit. I doubt she is being overseen by the best docs.

I received my ivermectin tablets from an India pharmacy they are 12mg. they have been sitting in my medicine cabinet for 14 months now just in case, HOWEVER the supplement regimen everyday has proven VERY SUCCESSFUL!! I have been working with the public since the beginning AND spent a week in the hospital with my mom when she suffered a small stroke, neither of us vaxed, she was 92 we both came out of the hospital with NO VIRUS!! The supplements work I swear by them!!

Women have been taking a medicine made from ‘horse piss’ for their depleting hormones for a long long time. Esp after hysterectomy. I know, I took them for years. Also, we have a thyroid medicine made from pigs thyroid called Amour. I take that also.
