I thought that with Nazis in the news with what is going on in Canada and some comparing the World Economic Forum to the Germain party, this would be a good time to see if any FREEPERS viewed this thing from the History Channel. I think it is still streaming on Amazon.
It is quite jaw-dropping and adds additional evidence to the rumors about many top Nazis relocating to South America. It adds evidence of poison gas factories and infrastructure projects like hydroelectric power plant construction.
I was surprised this information was not more well known.
I agree. I don’t know if this story is the one where he left in helicopter but that claim is farfetched. There were really none flying at the time. If that had happened it wouldn’t hafe been missed.
Survival stories of notable people are common fantasies, like JFK Jr, D. B. Cooper, etc. Hey, John Denver didn’t die either, he had to go on the run.
There were Nazis who went to South America, that part is true as some of them were hunted down there.

I remember a spoof magazine back (MAD, SICK or CRACKED) had a take off on Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in which one of the waiters in the South American cafe is Hitler.

Is this like the Hitler Diaries? The krauts had business connections all over the world run by Nazis who could give money to these runaways. It was in O’rielly’s book “Killing Eichman”. Doesn’t mean it’s true.
Hollywood in the 30s loved the Nazis. Some things never change.
The Germans flew helicopters in 1937, so they did have them. A remarkable woman, Hanna Reitsch, was a test pilot who flew those and every one of Germany's warplanes. She flew into Berlin on the last day Hitler was alive and tried to talk him into leaving with her. He refused. Favored by Hitler, she would have known if Hitler had survived. She died in 1979.
I knew a woman who was just a seven year old child when she lived in The Bunker right to the end of the war. Her father was a crypo radio operator. She played with the Goebbels children. She was eventually carried out of the bunker riding on the shoulder of a Russian soldier. She seemed sure that Hitler and Eva killed themselves, telling me that people who believed in his escape just didn't know how bottled up the Russians had them or how much Hitler was against leaving. Everyone wanted Hitler to leave so that they's have some hope of living themselves.
So, you think all the evidence they uncovered, all those eyewitness statements are all.....nothing, all lies, all phoney evidence?
I mean the official story is full all kinds of holes, you’re going to trust the Soviets to give a truthful accounting of what they did with “Hitler’s body” and “Eva Braun’s body”? I don’t know which story is the actual truth or if either of them are but it seems this investigation has far less holes in it than the official Soviet story. IMHO
A few facts scattered amongst wild speculation and garbage theories. Watching it is a complete waste of one’s time. I’m a military historian and former Army intelligence analysis, the logic gaps in the analysis by the claimed intel analysts on the show are large enough to drive a hundred thousand tiger tanks through, lined up side by side.

At my university there was a father son duo professors from South America who had kept their Germanic but also American sounding name. Both blonde/ light grey and blue eyes. I always wondered.

I don’t care if you were an intel analyst, that doesn’t make you God. I’ve known and worked with many NSGA intell analysts and ya know what, I never realized until I started working with them, how often our intel analysis is incorrect, in fact they’re wrong a lot, just like you were, just like all of them are. So excuse me if I don’t share your near sociopathic level of belief in yourm absolute perfection. Also, most intel analsts I knew never ever showed that kind of level of certainty, ever. And if you were actually an intel analyst, you know I am speaking the truth, so again, forgive me but my analysis of your post tells me it is not a very good idea to put a lot of trust in anything you claim. And again, if you ever were a real intel analyst you will know why. Either you’re a fraud or and a liar or the answer lies elsewhere, either way I’m putting very little stock in what you claim, especially since neither Hitler/Braun story has near enough provable evidence to say conclusively that one or the other is the absolute truth. Again it is your lack of an open mind that kind of gives you away.
I watched it when it aired on The History Channel. I recently read a book titled “Hunting Evil: The Nazi War Criminals Who Escaped and the Quest to Bring Them to Justice” by Guy Walters. One of the things I learned, was just how far our government would go to protect Nazis, using many of them to gather intelligence on the Russians. But one thing I’ve never seen, is what actual intelligence did any of these Nazi spies gather, that was of any help to this country during The Cold War.
The US Intel Community had no assets in the USSR at the end of WWII. (Not surprising when you think about it, there was barely a US Intel Community! No satellites, and rudimentary SIGINT.) . The German General Gehlen (Head of East Front German Military Intel) turned his entire human asset portfolio over to the US. Were they any good, useful to US policy? I’m sure we’ll never know. However no matter how ineffective or bad they were something was better then nothing!
