Best advice ever given to a young white boy by an older black man working together in a warehouse: “Just remember. There are two things that will kill a man. Bad women and bad whiskey.”

Saw an interesting one last night on TCM. It was called "Darling". Story of a socially upward gal who slept her way to the top.
Sounded very familiar for a 1965 movie.

Unusually for a film noir, it has a comic ending, supposedly concocted by Lang at the spur of the moment.

Edward G Robinson is one of the all-time most extraordinary actors. Far from your typical Hollywood good looks but he brought unique life to any role.

Thanks for the bump.
Fritz Lang always good for the noire vibe.
This one makes a great companion-piece to Lang's "Scarlet Street."
