Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is the world’s richest man, and he commissioned the world’s largest sailing yacht — so big that in order to get it out to sea, he’s offering to pay to take apart and reassemble a historic bridge that it needs to pass to get out of Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
It may result in the world’s biggest scrambled eggs, if a planned Facebook event to hurl rotten eggs at the $485 million vessel is as popular as its signup sheet suggests.
Facebook user Pablo Strörmann, a Rotterdam resident, stirred up "Eieren gooien naar superjacht Jeff Bezos (Throwing eggs at superyacht Jeff Bezos)" earlier this month, inviting the "the international Egg tossing community" to bombard Bezos’ boat on June 1. More than 20,000 people had marked themselves as going or interested in going as of Wednesday afternoon.

They have to be rotten eggs. Bezos will never get rid of the smell of sulfur.
The funny thing is, that it’s is cheaper to take down a bridge than to rig it at another shipyard that doesn’t have the height restriction issue.
This will hurt the boat building industry in the Netherlands, and possibly Amazon sales. Bezos might want to consider having the hull towed to a “neutral” port to be finished. Personally, I could care less what Bezos does with his money or his yacht.
A friend from China once told me when she was young, she had to watch propaganda movies (produced in Eastern Europe) about the United States where the angry workers and peasants threw eggs and tomatoes at their oppressors.
They immediately knew the USA was a rich and free country. Who in China could afford to throw food in protest? They were literally starving and hadn't see an egg in months.

When the Brooklyn Bridge was built, taller ships passing under it had to strike their topmast, an expensive procedure. During the 20th Century, U.S. Naval vessels were sized to be able to pass under the Brooklyn Bridge and through Panama Canal.
The peasants who are causing the Global Warming are also inconveniencing rich Elites, and posing a danger to them.
An On/Off switch would be nice if you were Jeff Bezos or Justin Castreau.
