NASA has always only been a conglomeration of government contractors.
SpaceX is owned by Elon Musk, private citizen. He cares 24/7 and works over 100 hours a week where as the govt only seems to want to try to care from 9-5/M-F.
Actually they spend most of the 9-5/M-F surfing porn sites, sleeping, playing computer games.....
