Prince Harry's High Court claim against the Home Office for not allowing him to pay for police protection while in the UK will have its first hearing on Friday.
The Duke of Sussex wants to bring his children to visit from the US, but claims they are 'unable to return to his home' because it is too dangerous, his lawyer has said.
Harry and Meghan lost their taxpayer-funded police protection in the aftermath of quitting as senior working royals in early 2020.
The Prince is arguing his private protection team in the US does not have jurisdiction abroad or access to UK intelligence which is needed to keep his family safe.
His bid for a review of the Home Office decision was filed in September.

Sure he wants to pay. The check is in the mail. Most likely, this lifelong freeloader would find a way to stick the old man with the bill.
He can pay for top notch security elsewhere, but he wants access to royal protection officer intel.
My neighbor thinks the Monarchy has been dissolved and that the “Royal” family owns no property. Even questions whether Elizabeth is alive. Charles might end up being a KINO.

The Crown Estate owns lots of property, including the seabed around the UK where offshore windmills must pay site royalties, of which the royals get to keep 25% according to what I’ve read.
Thems the breaks. Appears that the little prince is a bit scared.
Harry probably knows most of the royal guards already. They can get SIA licenses and Harry can pay them by the hour.
There are private estates like St. George’s Hill that have basic 24/7 security.
There are probably already any number of ex-royal protection officers who work in private security that he could hire.
These two are hopeless!!
