Interesting. All forms of wheat? By that I mean no whole grain either?

I avoid all wheat, read labels on other boxes of cereal. No GMO’s for me. My fave cereal is Panda Puffs, delish and available at Trader Joe and Fred Meyer/Kroger. Oatmeal is fine. Cascadian Farms has a few varieties of cold cereal that are OK. I mix Flaxseed meal into all cereals. Buy seeds and grind them myself.

I buy a really delish loaf of bread made from various seeds at Natural Grocer, and perhaps other health stores. Prices on all bread are ridiculously high, so $6.50 is fine. Arguably, buckwheat is not wheat. Organic Buckwheat flour available all over, I don’t follow directions, mix it with eggs for a nice crepe. The Wheat Belly book says rye and buckwheat are wheat, but I don’t really like rye. Natural Grocer has 100% rye flour bread, and it languishes in the freezer at my house. A slice now and then won’t kill me.

White rice is OK and of course, quinoa can be used many ways. Just soak it twice as long as recommended to get the bitter top layer off the grains.

My cat gets Purina Beyond Organic Chicken, Egg and Sweet Potato crunchies. I get them at PetSmart. Chewy is always out of it, too popular. My vet and I like the formula and Daisy likes the food.

Note on rice: it all contains arsenic. Brown rice has more. Daisy really loved Nutro crunchies (first ingredient brown rice) but I switched her to Beyond when I read that cats who eat brown rice have shorter lives. Probably people too.

Note to last post: Seed bread I get is 100% seeds. Every other brand dumps a few seeds into wheat etc bread. Not OK. I buy “BFREE Brown Seeded Loaf”.
