I’m aware of some of the complications of the vaccines. I’m against mandates and I think politicians have distorted data for their own benefit. I have seen a couple of unvaccinated with Comorbidities die. I am over 65 and felt the virus risk was greater than the vaccines. I do feel a lot of disinformation is posted on the venerable free republic forums.

“I am over 65 and felt the virus risk was greater than the vaccines.”

I’m sixty-eight. I’m not a doctor. But my take was the populace, us, were being “spooked.” Every country did what China did and since there was no valid data from China we don’t know if their approach was any more effective than doing nothing at all. Data at this late date indicates countries like Sweden that kept everything the same as before has done at least as well as countries that sacrificed every small business with no gain in safety. It’s going to take a generation or so to sort through the data and get past all of the lies and misinformation to determine what happened and how the vaccines worked, didn’t work, or caused additional problems.

Regardless, vaccinating 60 percent of humanity with a brand new, never before tired genetic vaccine was an insane risk. Even if it works out to not cause massive problems, it was still an insane risk. I think we need laws in place to prevent this sort of panicked rush that could potentially take all of humanity over a cliff.

While this was going on, I was trying to remember all of the times I heard liberals fantasize about killing half of humanity to save the planet. I know even mentioning that makes me sound like a conspiracy nut. But conspiracies do, on occasion, exist. And, technology has gotten to the point where a Bond villain could actually be real. Unfortunately, there are no real Jame’s Bond agents whose goal is to protect humanity from these villains.

One thing that really subtracted from the believability of the government “experts” was the cloth masks. A virus particle is a few nanometers in size. The closest cloth weave has 5,000 square nanometers to catch said virus particle. That’s like a gnat going through an open garage door. Then there was Nancy Pelosi saying on a live mike, “Masks are political theater.” Just doing away with the political theater would have gone a long way to making the government experts seem more honest. Then we have Fauci who changed what he said 180 degrees sometimes in the same speech. I recognized him as someone who is wildly passionate about the sound of his own voice. Someone who sounded more credible would have helped the government’s case. But someone who sounded more credible would have said things like, “we’ll have a vaccination we can rely on by late 2024” and THAT wasn’t politically acceptable.

I just learned that dis-information is intentional (as defined by the Govt.)

I have asked several folks, but have not gotten a real good answer, and I have thought about this question:

What would the agenda be of a person or group that would intentionally try to convince people NOT to get this particular vaccine? What damage are they trying to cause?

Some would say that they are foreign actors trying to undermine our institutions. I say to that, no dice, our institutions are doing that themselves. <— I’m serious here, not a joke.
